Dang it, Dell

I was all happy to hear about Dell's new PC without a Microsoft OS and then they had to go and do this. Make up your minds, Dell. Are you in or are you out? Has anyone else tried buying one of these systems? Was it really this bad?
I tried Dell,but could not buy before this new E510n PC. So i bought a laptop ,dual booted Xandros,,which they do not support,no drivers ,nada.
I was thinking of getting this new E510n PC,for a client who uses Zeta (Be OS) but according to reviews Zeta runs best on older hardware.
