Spore's a good travel companion
As much as it was a pain actually getting Spore and getting it fully functional (after the other stuff I've mentioned, I had to contact customer support for a new serial number because the one associated with my copy had "already been registered"), it's turning out to be a good travel companion. It runs great on the MacBook Pro, it's a cute game, and it's something I can start up at the airport while waiting for a flight or play in my hotel room. Given that I don't have a PSP and am not so dedicated to my PS3 that I'm going to pack it back and forth, it's nice to have something to play on the road when I don't feel like doing anything constructive.
One feature I really wish that the space section had is the ability to search for planets, at least among those planets you've discovered. I don't have the memory, apparently, to remember what's where after a while!
